VECTOR technology is the name given to human weapon and defense systems arising from advances associated with Vectorium. It is a Terran technological family, not a synonym for all forms of alien armament. In orbital engagements, VECTOR fire is visually distinct from the shells, missiles, deployed machines, plasma and directed-energy weapons used by Thaevrek forces.
The technology helped turn Terran Reach’s expanding defenses into a sophisticated automated military network. Its power also raised scientific questions that early users did not fully understand.
