Long before the events at Terran Reach, disagreement and miscommunication surrounding Vectorium led to a destructive conflict between the Thaevrek and Aurelians. Thaevrek exploration of the material’s capabilities brought an Aurelian response intended to avert a wider danger; the civilizations’ failure to understand one another helped turn confrontation into war.
Communication ultimately became possible, and the former adversaries began collaborating to understand the dangers of Vectorium. The history provides a disturbing parallel to the later conflict with humanity. Specific commanders, battles, treaties, dates, and technical solutions remain outside the established record.
