Battery Three is a fortified surface-defense installation built into a hill near one of Terran Reach’s principal cities. Its operators work in a hardened fire-control room, interpreting tracks and launching interceptors toward incoming threats.
During the first planetary siege, Juno Venn and Chief Okafor operate here while the broader orbital battle proceeds beyond their direct view. The installation’s scenes in the Chronicles embody the ground perspective central to Silo Commander: cities with people and windows are more than symbols on a targeting display.
